Regular (Weekly) Practice

  1. Choose the day and time of your request. Regular practices are
Monday through Friday, 5:30 or 7:00 PM only.

  2. Choose a second and/or third request in the event that no fields are
    available.

  3. Call your field scheduler before noon on Saturday for the upcoming
    week.

  4. We can not guaranteed that your team will have the same field every
    week. Field assignments will change.

  5. Check the field schedule either on the web site or at the ballpark
after 2:00 PM on Sunday. We can not guarantee that you will receive a return phone call from your field scheduler for confirmation.

    Extra Practice

  6. Choose the day and time of your request. Extra practices are also
Monday through Friday, 5:30 or 7:00 PM only.

  7. Call your field scheduler before noon on Saturday for the upcoming
    week.

  8. Check the field schedule either on the web site or at the ballpark
after 2:00 PM on Sunday. We can not guarantee that you will receive a return phone call from your field scheduler for confirmation.

  9. Extra practices are only scheduled week-to-week, so if you want to
try and get an extra practice every week, you need to call it in every week.

    Practice that are “Bumped”

    1. All games may "bump" other team’s practices, so it is imperative that
you check the schedule on Sunday.

    2. If your practice has been bumped and you have not been scheduled
for your second or third request, you can take one of the unassigned fields.

    3. Do not assume that just because you have looked at the schedule,
there are open times slots for practices.

    4. The manager must go to the ballpark and speak to the board
member on duty. They will write you on the schedule.

    5. Do not call the ballpark. Do not write it on the schedule yourself.

    Regular Season Games

    1. Your league representative will get your season’s schedule to the
      proper field schedulers.

    2. Fields are handled by the field schedulers. You do not need to call
      them in each week.

    3. Umpires will also be scheduled so you do not need to call the umpire
coordinator. This does not apply to select baseball, division 1, or AA
knothole teams. Please remember that the manager is responsible to obtain the team’s umpires.

    4. Coaches will play their games on the assigned dates, times and
fields. We have had coaches in the past wanting to reschedule all of their
games for different days - this will not be allowed.

    5. Check the field schedule either on the web site or at the ballpark
after 2:00 PM on Sunday just to double check that your game has been
      scheduled.

    6. In the event that your regular season game was left off of the
schedule, call your field scheduler immediately so the addition can be
made. Do not wait until the day of your game to check the schedule and
then realize that there is a problem.

    Rainouts (Make-Up) Games

    1. Make-up games must be made up on your practice night.

    2. If the rainout game was originally away, that make-up must be
played away. There will not be any away rainouts played at Tealtown.

    3. Confirm the date and time with the opposing manager. Weekday
games will start at 6:30 PM and weekend games at 10:00, 1:00 or 4:00.

    4. Call your field scheduler before noon on Saturday for the upcoming
      week.

    5. Check the field schedule either on the web site or at the ballpark
after 2:00 PM on Sunday just to double check that your game has been
scheduled. You will not get a return phone call from your field scheduler
      for confirmation.

    6. If we can not accommodate you with a field for your game, you will
be notified by your field scheduler.

    Game Cancellations

    1. If your game has been cancelled, it is the manager’s responsibility to
call and notify their field scheduler.

    2. The manager must then call the umpire coordinator so your umpire’s
      will be cancelled.

    3. If the cancellation is not called in to these two people, your team will
loose their practice for the next week and the manager will be responsible for paying the umpires for his next home game.
